I was a non-active Catholic when I ordered this book, but had become very interested in the Mormon faith and was looking for a detailed comparison of doctrines and beliefs of the two faiths.     I wholeheartedly recommend this book for those wishing an honest, open discussion about Catholic and Mormon theology. What I liked is that the analysis is truly comparative of the core theological concepts of each religion and presented in such a way that was mutually respectful yet intellectually by: 1.   His first book was Catholic roots, Mormon Harvest. His second was The Biblical Roots of Mormonism. The titles alone should give a Christian pause. These books clearly promote Mormonism. The first book is a testimony of Shuster’s conversion to Mormonism that also compares Mormon and Catholic doctrine.
